I always enjoy reading your theatre stories. Your thoughtful approach to self-analysis and your sincere desire for self-discovery is immensely satisfying to read about from the outside.

After a performance, it might behoove you to look at your choices (successful or not) and take the time to figure out after the fact (“l’esprit d’escalier” as the French would call it) the ultimate best contribution you could have made had you the time to fully consider it–a luxury not afforded in improv. Eventually, it’ll just come easily when in the moment.

I imagine you already do this, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the progress marked here so I can witness it from afar.

We did, in fact, go to Carter Mountain Orchard. (And had late lunch/early dinner at Mitchie Tavern afterwards.) The place is gorgeous, and the thought of picking peaches fresh off the tree fills me with giddy delight.

BTW, where did you go apple picking? Carter Mountain Orchard does have some awesome apples (and peaches if you come in the summer)

P.S. I dance the same way to that song, but Leth’s never captured it on video. I wonder if he’s as dizzy as I am at the end…. Cute!
