I would like to claim that you must have made a mistake, but I also observed this behavior. Really annoying, singe I would have liked to comment out some actions in order to debug part of the upgrade. But as it is, I have to live with debugging on the entire upgrade, or saving part of my XML in a different file. Not exactly a show-stopper, just irritating.

Perhaps ‘understand’ is a strong word. I mean something more like, “Having banged my head against various mysterious and sundry limitations of SharePoint, I can imagine that this would probably be yet another gotcha to trap the unwary programmer.”

Hi Jason, when you say ‘understand’, are you referring to the architecture of sandbox request handling ? Is there any official docs on this ? There only seems an issue when the update is triggered from Sandboxed code…

Totally agreed on all accounts, though I can’t bring myself as of now to sit around the house in my “good clothes”. Probably because I was brought up with the idea of “good clothes” and “play clothes”.

Brilliant Blog! Welcome Back. I hear you about the rusty chops. I have been teaching it but not playing it much so my ego also took a swipe at me when playing with very smart bunch of 9 year old’s and I felt like an amateur. I am just starting up a new biz based in improv. In short time we will talk more about it, but until then, Great luck with Watson and all of your new endeavors. BTW: Your wife and son are beautiful. I have a Benjamin too. He was (as with Jacob) my last born and being a son, he had to be a Ben!
